Categories:

- AutoPatch_Test

When adding a software title to your Patch Management, place it in this category to instruct AutoPatch to automatically deploy updates to the group AutoPatch Test.

This category is designed for software patches which you need/want to test before deploying.

Once testing is complete, and you are ready to deploy the update across your fleet, you should create a secondary patch policy to perform this action, AutoPatch will continue to manage the test policy and you then have manual control over the final release of the update.

- AutoPatch_Release

When adding a software title to your Patch Management, place it in this category to instruct AutoPatch to automatically deploy updates to the group AutoPatch Release.

This category is designed for software patches which you do not need/want to test before deploying.

Although software titles can be moved between categories, we do not reccomend moving to the AutoPatch_Release category as a method to deploy a patch after testing, instead we recomend you follow the procedure details under the AutoPatch_Test category above.
